Sales

Each of Baxter’s divisions offers a wide range of sales positions from Medical Sales Rep to Regional and National Sales Managers and Directors.  Complimenting some of these teams are Nurse Advisors, Clinical Sales Specialists and Training Nurses. 

 

Marketing

Marketing roles range from entry-level Marketing Assistants through to Marketing Managers.

 

Pharmacy

There are a number of roles throughout the country for qualified Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians.  These range from positions in our specialist Compounding Pharmacy Units to the busy department in our Distribution and Quality Network.

 

Manufacturing

There are two manufacturing facilities in the UK, Thetford and Liverpool.  Our main Thetford plant offers a wide range of jobs from working on our production lines to opportunities at different levels of the organisation in Engineering, Production and Quality Assurance.

 

Regulatory Affairs/Quality Assurance

Based at both Compton and Thetford, our Regulatory Affairs Department ensures that Baxter complies with the law.  Regulatory Affairs Officers play an important role in Manufacturing and work closely with the various Marketing Departments.  The Quality team ensure that Baxter manufactures quality products.

 

Medical Information

This cross-divisional function, based within the Compton office, provides clinical and technical information to customers and colleagues for the full Baxter UK product portfolio. Local and global resources and contacts are applied to support the optimum use of our products for patients and contribute to the efficiency of the organisation. The team are also involved in training, strategy and ABPI Code of Practice reviews of business pieces.

 

Human Resources

Human Resources are based at two sites – Compton and Thetford and offer a complete support package with Human Resources Managers and Advisors, Compensation and Benefits Specialists, Payroll and top-class Administrators.

 

Information Technology

The IT Function supports, develops and integrates all of the cutting-edge systems that help Baxter to function in today’s modern world.  Desktop Support, Programmers and Systems Analysts are just some of the positions in this field.  The IT department also ensures that the telecommunications at Baxter are up to the highest industry standards.

 

Finance
Always a vital component of any company, Baxter offers positions from Finance Administration through part and fully qualified accountancy positions to Business Analysts and Finance Directors.

 

Technical Services
The Technical Services division of Baxter is made up of a large number of field and in-house technicians, who ensure that Baxter’s machines run at peak efficiency.  They are supported by a team of Customer Services representatives.

 

Warehousing, Distribution and Logistics
Warehouse Operatives and Drivers form the backbone of our supply chain.  While our highly skilled Warehouse and Transport Supervisors and Managers, and logistics experts ensure the whole operation runs like clockwork.

 

Customer Services
Customer Service professionals provide the vital link between Baxter, the NHS and patients.  Our major Customer Service centres are located in Compton and Northampton with smaller teams in some of our other locations.
